Transportation Volunteer
As a member of our transportation team, you would be included in our "shout out" rota when we need help with transporting rabbits.
This may include collecting rabbits being surrendered to the service from their original home, or transporting rabbits between our foster homes throughout Central Scotland and our Rescue Support Centre and Appointments office in Kirkintilloch.
Volunteers should have a full driving license and access to their own vehicle, and will be required to inform their insurance provider that they are conducting business as a volunteer.
Saturday is one of our busiest days within the rescue.
We are now operating Transportation shift on Saturday afternoons and we are looking for volunteers to join the rota.
On a flexible rota, you will not be required every week. When you shift you will be aligned to our Saturday Appointment & Care Team and will assist by transporting rabbits to and from our Appointments Office in Kirkintilloch.
Rabbits may be visiting for welfare appointments, to be surrendered to the service, adoption deliveries or transferring between foster homes.
