Our Foster Homes

All our foster homes, indoors and outdoors, provide a combined living and exercise space of at least 10ft x 6ft.

The Bunny Bothy

Our HQ and public appointments office in Kirkintilloch (Glasgow) where many of our charity activities take place.

The Hoppy Hub

Accommodation facilities to support additional space, our resident rabbits and Bonding Bootcamp.

The Binky Village

** Planned for 2025 **

Phase 3 of our Burrow Building project, The Binky Village will be a state of the art rabbit welfare and education service.

Foster Care Facilities

The majority of the rabbits in our rescue are cared for by volunteer foster carers in their own homes.

Offering indoor or outdoor spaces for our rabbits, Beloved Rabbits provide any required equipment on loan whilst our foster carers provide all day-to-day care including bedding, food and treats.

We have foster carers throughout Central Scotland, creating enough space for between 70 and 100 rabbits and any moment in time.

Below are just a few examples of our foster care homes.

The Bunny Bothy

The Bunny Bothy, based in Kirkintilloch (Glasgow), is our official headquarters.  A small office building, it is used to facilitate the majority of our public appointments including surrendering of rabbits, adoptions and bonding support services.

The Burrow Building Project: Phase 1

The Bunny Bothy opened in October 2018, and formed Phase 1 of our Burrow Building project: a project aimed at developing a rabbit welfare and education centre delivering a wide range of services for rabbit owners.

The Hoppy Hub

Just a couple of doors down the street from The Bunny Bothy, we are planning to open our Hoppy Hub facilities in Autumn 2019.

These will provide accommodation for our resident rabbits, additional foster space to support foster holidays and emergency placements, and provide space for us to reintroduce our much sought after "Bonding Bootcamp" service.

The Burrow Building Project: Phase 2

The Hoppy Hub is Phase 2 of our Burrow Building project: a project aimed at developing a rabbit welfare and education centre delivering a wide range of services for rabbit owners.

The Binky Village

Phase 3 of our Burrow Building project will see us implement "The Binky Village" - Scotland's first large-scale dedicated rabbit rescue and welfare centre.

Here charity director David talks us through our vision which we hope to deliver by the end of 2022.
