There's nothing worse than forking out your hard earned cash on a new bag or box of fresh hay for your rabbits, only for them to refuse to touch.

But hay intake is so important, that you can't just wait until its used up before buying them something they are going to enjoy.

That's where our Hay Trade-In Offer gives you confidence when you are buying hay.

We will accept any brand of hay, including hay that has not been purchased from ourselves, as a trade-in towards hay purchased from our store in person.

Terms & Conditions

50% Or More Unused

The hay you are trading-in must have 50% or more of the original package size of hay remaining.

Original Packaging

The packaging can be open, but the hay must still be in its original package, with no signs of being repackaged.

Like-For-Like Package Size

The trade-in hay and the purchase hay do not need to be the same brand or type of hay, but the original package sizes must be equivalent to each other for the discount to apply. You cannot trade-in half a 1kg bag of supermarket hay towards a 15kg bag of Timothy hay, but you can apply the discount towards a 1kg bag of Burgess Long-Stem Timothy hay, for example.

Usable Condition

The trade-in hay must be free from signs of mould, mildew, dust or damp.

In-Store Purchases Only

The discount is available for in-store purchases only. Discounts cannot be retrospectively applied to online or click & collect orders.

Beloved Rabbits Approval

Beloved Rabbits representatives retain the right to withdraw the offer if they believe the hay being offered is unsuitable or does not meet the conditions of the offer.

Donating your unwanted hay to Beloved Rabbits in return for a discount on your next hay purchase helps us in so many ways!

You help reduce our costs, by providing otherwise unwanted hay that can be used to feed and bed the rabbits within our care. This means we do not need to purchase as much hay for use in the rescue.
Your continued purchases within our shop help generate a profit for Beloved Rabbits. As we are 100% volunteer ran, every penny of that profit goes straight back into providing the best quality care for the rabbits we look after.
