Sadly the majority of pet rabbits still do not receive annual vaccinations, which places a large burden on the rescue as we need to prioritise the administration of these as soon as rabbits enter our facilities.

As we are partnered with dozens of vet practices across Central Scotland, the costs vary considerably, ranging from £40 to £70 per vaccination!

Adopters will often offer a donation at the time of adoption to contribute towards our costs, but with suggested donations of £70 per rabbit towards vaccinations, neutering and microchipping it typically leaves us with a gap between our costs and the donations offered at adoption.
