The Forest

Our primary rescue environments, offering full-size walk-in space dedicated to a single, bonded pair or group.

Each of our five rescue environments meet the latest Rabbit Welfare Association guidelines for space, and are designed to allow our volunteers to spend time socialising with the rabbits and ensuring the rabbits have all their needs met.

Sponsor one of these environments from only £100 per month, or £1,000 per year.

The Herb Garden

Our temporary and emergency living space environments in The Herb Garden are used to offer short-term space for rabbits urgently needing space, They allow us a few days to re-organise our placements and transfer the rabbits into full-size environments elsewhere within our network.

Each of our three rescue Herb Garden environments offer space that exceeds the minimum living space but are not sufficient for long term use. We intend to ensure rabbits are only housed in these spaces for a minimal period.

Sponsor one of these environments from only £50 per month, or £500 per year.

Hay Hutch or Berry Basket

Our Hay Hutch and Berry Basket environments support our Bonding Bootcamp activities.

Bonding can be difficult, and many rabbit owners don't have the neutral space or time to conduct bonding themselves, or perhaps are experiencing challenges with bonding activity and reach out for help from our team.

The environments are deliberately small, allowing focused activity during bonding throughout their short stay with us. The cages are designed to allow us to adapt the amount of space the rabbits have access to as the bond begins to settle.

An external and mobile bonding pen is used for the managed introductions. Pet Remedy, a natural de-stressing solution, is used throughout the environments to help reduce the stress of the experience for the rabbits too.

Each of our two bonding environments offer space adapts to different numbers within the bond whether its a pair bond and a more complicated group bond.

Forage Feasts

Our Forage Feast environment is part of Bunny Bothy appointments space.

This three-unit space is used for very temporary holding of rabbits as they arrive into the rescue for the first, or whilst they are waiting on their new owners arriving to collect them.

Rabbits are held in these spaces for around 20 - 60 minutes only as we facilitate appointments and prepare them for adoption, wait for their foster carers to collect them, or prepare the rescue space within The Hoppy Hub to settle them in.

These are essential to managing our appointment effectively, and as they are high turnover spaces we need to clean them thoroughly multiple times per day! Anigene cleaning solution runs out quickly in our Bunny Bothy!
