Sell At Our Virtual Christmas Market
28th November to 17th December 2023
List Items before 28th November

Thank you for considering selling at our first-ever Virtual Christmas Market.
Using eBay's tried and trusted platform eBay for Charity, you are able to list your items for sale and raise money for Beloved Rabbits all at the same time.
Just follow our easy step-by-step guide below.
How to list items for sale in our Virtual Christmas Market
Creating an eBay for Charity listing:
Visit our eBay for Charity page and login to your eBay account. If you don't already have an eBay account you can register for one here.

Take the time to take high-quality photographs, and remember to take different angles and shots that best show all the features of your item.

Research your item! Have a look through other listings and see what similar items are selling for.
Also practice packaging your item for shipping and weight it to work out what you need to charge to cover your postage and packing costs too.
You may find parcel2go.com a useful shipping comparison tool to find the best prices for postage.
Now you can create your listing.
eBay's intuitive process will guide you through to help you make sure you select all the right settings including categorisation.
Their form will guide you through all the settings you need to create the best listing.
For a more detailed guide to create an eBay Listing see their help article here.
Things to remember:
- Use the "Schedule Your Listing" option to ensure your listing is running during our Virtual Christmas Market dates - 28th November until 17th December 2023.
- Don't forget to select Beloved Rabbits within the charity section on the listing, and select your preferred donation level.
- You will be responsible for any eBay listing and final sales fees so take that into consideration within your pricing, but eBay will reduce your final sales fee by the same percentage as you donate to Beloved Rabbits. That means you could get 100% rebate on your final sales fee!
- Offering "Free P&P" in your listing may increase the chances of successful sales, but remember the costs of shipping will not be deducted from your donation amount.
Check your email or eBay Dashboard for notifications of successful sales - these will give you all the information you need to despatch your items to your buyers!
Within a few weeks, and after the buyer has paid, eBay's partners at PayPal Giving Fund will collect your donation via your automatic payment method or you’ll receive an invoice to pay your donations.
PayPal Giving Fund will send your donation to Beloved Rabbits and will provide you with a donation receipt. eBay will also discount your Final Value Fees equal to the percentage you donated.

Donate Items For Us To Sell
Looking for an easier way to get involved with our Virtual Christmas Market?
If you prefer you can simply donate your items to us, and let us deal with creating our sales listings on eBay and processing the collection/shipping of items to our buyers.
You can arrange to drop your item(s) off at our offices in Kirkintilloch, and we will give you an opportunity to provide guide prices for what you think your items should be sold for.
If you are a sole-trader or small business, we will also make sure your business is detailed in the listing too!
Your Support Makes A Direct Difference
We are completely dependent on the generosity of our supporters and followers to ensure that we can continue to provide our services for the rabbits in our care and the hundreds of rabbit owners who turn to us each year.
The Cost Of Living situation within the UK continues to put real pressure on animal welfare charities like Beloved Rabbits, and your support helps generate funds that cover our veterinary costs, food, bedding and administrative costs that are all vital to running the service effectively.
We are all volunteers, so you can rest assured that all the money you donate goes directly to helping improve rabbit welfare standards in Scotland.
