The 5k dash can also be completed as a hop, skip, jump or even a gentle stroll, so no need to worry if your not a runner - it truly is an opportunity for everyone!

Sign-up and start getting sponsors to support your efforts through our Just Giving page.

This event is organised and managed by Glasgow City Council

- Just Giving and/or Offline Sponsor Forms

Event Details:

Date: Sunday 10 December 2023
Time: 10:00am

Entry Fee (payable to Glasgow City Council): Adults £16, Children £6

Taking Part:

Step 1 : Register To Take Part

You need to register to take part in the Santa Dash.

Registration is now open.

Register via Glasgow City Council's Page.

Your registration is payable to Glasgow City Council and will be donated to The Lord Provost's Charity Fund and The Beatson Cancer Charity by them on your behalf.

Step 2 :Setup Your Fundraising Page on Just Giving

Now its time to get sponsorship for your participation.  This is the part where you can raise money for Beloved Rabbits!

Glasgow City Council encourage participants to raise money for their selected charities, but in their FAQs they do confirm that participants are welcome to raise money for their own charities too, and we'd love it if you could raise money for us.

The easiest way to do this is to setup a Just Giving page.  Just Giving is the biggest and best known crowd funding platform - they will do all the hard work for you.

Create your fundraising page on Just Giving.

Step 3 : Download Our Offline Sponsorship Form

Not everyone will want to sponsor you through our Just Giving page.

And its often easier to encourage folk to sponsor you face-to-face than it is through social media and email - its harder for them to say no.

Download our Offline Sponsorship form and capture more sponsors between now and the big dash.

Step 4 : Get Sponsored!

Now its time to share your Just Giving page as far and wide as you can.

Ask you friends, family, colleagues, doctor, postman.....the man that occasionally walks his dog on your street.  The more people you ask to sponsor you, the more money you raise, and the more rabbits we can care for!

Step 5 : Sort Out Your Outfit!

Glasgow City Council include a Santa Suit T-Shirt and your Race Number as part of your registration fee.

As part of your pre-event pack they will provide the details of when and where you should collect your Santa Suit from.

It is not possible to have your Santa Suit T-Shirt delivered - you must collect it from the dedicated collection point.

You are free to wear your own Santa Costume / Outfit, but you must wear the correct allocated race number during the event.  Why not dress as a Christmas Bunny?!?

We have created our own selection of Beloved Rabbits Santa Dash merchandise you may prefer to choose - Hoodies, Sweatshirts and T-Shirts available to purchase from our Drop-Shipping Partner directly on our website today.  Proceeds will go towards the rabbits in our care.

Step 6: Do The Dash!

Don't forget to actually show up on the day and take part.

Its an atmosphere like no other, and is great fun to be a part of.

Step 7: Collect Any Offline Donations and Donate Them To Us

Just Giving will deal with all your online donations and ensure these are passed on to Beloved Rabbits for you, including handling any Gift Aid claims.

But don't forget you will need to manage any offline donations.

Collect all the funds and send the donations to us at the address below, or donate the funds via our website.

Don't forget to send us the offline forms too so we can process any gift aid claims there too.
