Coronavirus COVID-19 Response
Due to the current global epidemic caused by the Coronavirus, Beloved Rabbits have made the difficult decision to amend, suspend or reduce a number of our services with immediate effect.
Please see full details below of the adjustments currently in place.
The decision was made as we anticipate great strain our volunteer team during the coming weeks, particularly with the current guidance for social distancing and self-isolation protocols.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, and appreciate your understanding and ongoing support at this difficult time.
Rabbit Rescue / Surrenders Entering Beloved Rabbits
We are able to accept rabbits into the rescue at this time, and continue to manage this via a waiting list to manage demand.
When space permits, a volunteer will contact owners to arrange a contactless collection appointment
Rabbit Adoptions
We are able to accept, assess and process adoptions.
Following a virtual homechecking process, adopted rabbits will be brought to adopters homes via a contactless delivery appointment.
Bonding Support Services
We are able to continue some of our Bonding Support Services.
Bonding Support Telephone and Video consultations have been introduced to support owners in their own homes where possible.
Our Bonding Bootcamp service has resumed, following socially distanced contactless drop-off and collection arrangements.
However, all face-to-face Bonding Support Services continue to be suspended at this time.
Care Advice & Support
We are able to provide rabbit welfare and care advice via email, Facebook, and Telephone.
Fundraising, Awareness & Education Events
All events, including those aimed at fundraising, awareness and education, have been suspended
