Bonding Advice Call
A Bonding Advice Call gives you focused, practical guidance before you start or restart a bond. You speak directly with an experienced member of our team by telephone and work through your specific situation.
Typical call length is 30 to 45 minutes. We will:
- Talk through each rabbit’s history, temperament and living set up
- Identify whether bonding is appropriate at this time
- Explain different bonding methods and which suits your rabbits best
- Outline clear next steps you can start at home
- Highlight early warning signs that mean you should pause and seek further help
You leave the call with a simple, realistic plan that matches your rabbits and your home environment.

Virtual Bonding Coaching Session
A Virtual Bonding Coaching Session takes place by video call. It combines advice with live coaching so you can show us your set up and, if appropriate, your rabbits together.
A typical session lasts around 60 minutes. We will:
- Review your rabbits and their current housing on camera
- Help you set up a safe, neutral bonding space at home
- Watch short live bonding interactions, where suitable
- Talk you through reading body language and when to step in
- Agree a clear plan for the next few days of bonding
This session suits you if you want real time guidance without travelling to The Bunny Bothy.

Bonding Clinic Appointment
A Bonding Clinic Appointment takes place in person at The Bunny Bothy. You can book it as a planning session without your rabbits, or as an initial introduction session where you bring them with you.
During your appointment we will:
- Take a detailed history of each rabbit and your home set up
- Explain realistic bonding options for your situation
- If you bring your rabbits, carry out a short controlled introduction in a neutral space
- Demonstrate safe handling and separation techniques
- Agree whether you continue bonding at home or move to a stay based option
Clinic appointments are ideal if you prefer face-to-face support or want us to see your rabbits in person before deciding on the next step.

Bonding Introduction Stay
A Bonding Introduction Stay is a short, focused boarding stay designed to start the bonding process in our care. Your rabbits board with us for 7 to 14 days while we manage the early stages of introductions.
During this stay we will:
- Settle each rabbit and complete an initial welfare assessment
- House the rabbits in neutral, side by side accommodation
- Introduce short, closely supervised sessions together when ready
- Gradually build up contact time based on their behaviour
- Provide you with regular updates and a summary at the end of the stay
At the end of a Bonding Introduction Stay we will advise whether the bond looks ready to continue at home with a clear plan, or whether a further managed bonding stay is recommended.
A Post-Bonding Check-in is included once you take over at home.
This service was previously refererred to as our Bonding Bootcamp service.

Bonding Prep & Stay Package
The Bonding Prep and Stay Package combines home based preparation with a managed stay at The Bunny Bothy. It is designed for owners who want to play an active role in the early planning but prefer us to complete the main part of the bond.
This package usually includes:
- An initial consultation, either a Bonding Advice Call, Virtual Bonding Coaching Session or Bonding Clinic Appointment
- A personalised home preparation plan covering housing changes, territory, routines and diet
- A Bonding Introduction Stay, typically 7 to 14 days in our care, to establish the bond in a neutral environment
- A Post-Bonding Check-in once your rabbits return home

Total Care Bonding Package
The Total Care Bonding Package is our most comprehensive option. Your rabbits board with us for several weeks so we can manage familiarisation, bonding and settling as a complete process before they return home as a bonded pair or group.
A typical Total Care Bonding Package includes:
- An initial assessment period of typically 2 weeks, where each rabbit settles, is monitored and becomes familiar with the environment and with each other through safe separation
- A managed bonding phase of around 1 to 2 weeks with structured, progressive introductions in neutral spaces
- A settling phase of around 1 to 2 weeks where the rabbits live together in a stable set-up to build confidence and routine
- Regular updates throughout the stay and a detailed handover at collection
A Post-Bonding Check-in once your rabbits are back home
This package suits complex bonds, nervous or previously unsuccessful pairs, or owners who cannot manage intensive bonding work at home.
Total Care Bonding Package
From £485 for 4 Weeks

Post Bonding Check-in
The Post-Bonding Check-in is a short follow up by telephone or video call once your rabbits have gone home together. It helps you maintain a stable bond during the critical first days and weeks.
During your check-in in we will:
- Review how the rabbits have been behaving since they returned home
- Look at any housing or routine changes you have made
- Discuss any worries or early warning signs you have noticed
- Adjust your plan if needed and confirm when to relax supervision
A Post-Bonding Check-in is included with all stay-based packages. You can also book it as an add-on after any standalone consultation if you would like extra reassurance once you start or restart bonding at home.
