TikTok Content Creator

Create short-form TikTok content that grows awareness of Beloved Rabbits, improves rabbit welfare education, and supports fundraising and service promotion, in a way that is accurate, kind, and safe.

Key responsibilities

Content planning

  • Follow a simple monthly content plan and suggest new ideas based on what is working on TikTok
  • Keep a running list of video ideas, hooks, and trends that suit a welfare charity
  • Align content with current campaigns, appeals, and key messages

Filming and creation

  • Film short clips that show the day-to-day of rabbit rescue and welfare work, when approved and appropriate
  • Create educational videos on rabbit care basics, using charity-approved guidance
  • Create promotion videos for services, events, and fundraising campaigns
  • Use voiceover, captions, and on-screen text so videos work with sound off

Editing and publishing

  • Edit videos in TikTok or CapCut with clear captions and simple pacing
  • Post content using agreed titles, keywords, and calls to action
  • Maintain consistent tone and visual style
  • Ensure each post includes the right links or next step, such as website visit, donate, adopt, volunteer, or book a service

Community engagement

  • Monitor comments for questions and sentiment
  • Flag welfare or medical questions to the right volunteer, rather than giving medical advice
  • Hide or report inappropriate comments in line with agreed moderation rules

Where you’ll volunteer

Hybrid. You can create and edit content from home. Filming may take place at the rescue or at events, by agreement.  You may also utilise video content provided by other members of the volunteer team.

Time commitment

2 to 4 hours per week, flexible.

Typical expectation:

1 to 3 short videos per week, depending on your availability and the content plan.

Who you’ll work with

You will report to our Social Media Managers (volunteers).
You will work alongside volunteers who support welfare, fundraising, events, and service delivery.

Skills and experience

Essential

  • Confident using TikTok and comfortable creating short videos
  • Clear written communication for captions and on-screen text
  • Good judgement and willingness to follow brand and welfare guidance
  • Reliable, communicates well, and meets agreed deadlines

Desirable

  • Experience with CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, or other editing tools
  • Understanding of rabbit welfare, or willingness to learn quickly
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics
  • Experience working with charities, community groups, or animal welfare
