Supporter Champion

You help supporters feel valued through consistent thanks, updates, and simple follow-up.

Time ask

20 to 40 minutes per week.
Can be done in one short batch.

Where you fit

You work closely with the Fundraising Manager.
You coordinate with the Social Media Team when public thanks or updates are needed.

Main tasks

Send thank you messages to donors and fundraisers using approved templates.
Make sure every fundraiser receives an acknowledgement and a simple impact message.
Support basic stewardship, for example “here is what your support helped cover this week”.
Keep a simple thank you log, name, date, channel, and what they supported.
Flag any supporter questions, refund requests, or concerns to the charity lead.

What good looks like

No fundraiser feels ignored.
Thanks go out promptly, ideally within a week.
Repeat supporters feel recognised and stay engaged.
